Hewman is a fully mobile creative experience. We bring the materials, tools, and facilitation needed so your group can focus on enjoying the experience.

Each experience includes:

  • Set up and clean up of all Hewman materials

You'll simply need to provide the space, tables, chairs, and your guests.

  • Not at all. Most people who attend a Hewman experience have never worked with clay before. Our approach is designed for beginners and emphasizes observation, curiosity, and creativity over technical skill.

  • Every experience is designed around your group. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger event, we'll work with you to determine the format that best fits your space and goals.

  • Hewman is a mobile creative practice. We travel to your home, workplace, event venue, or community space and transform it into a creative environment. If you're still deciding on a location, we're happy to discuss what types of spaces work best.

  • We ask that hosts provide: Tables, Chairs, an indoor or outdoor gathering space, and access to restrooms when available. We'll take care of the creative materials, tools, facilitation, and everything needed for the experience.

  • Yes. Hewman is based in Southern California and is available for travel. Travel fees may apply depending on the location and scope of the event.

  • Absolutely. Every group is different. We'll work with you to tailor the experience based on your audience, occasion, available time, and event goals.

  • Most experiences last approximately 2–3 hours, depending on the event and group size. We'll recommend a timeline that best fits your gathering.

  • Yes. Many participants arrive saying they "aren't artistic." Our role is to guide people through the process in a way that feels approachable and enjoyable, regardless of experience level.
